Loft beds may be assembled in two basic configurations:
Dual-sleep unit- Add a metal bed frame/matress to the bottom area and turn the desk unit to face outward.
Junior Office Suite- Turn the desk unit to face inward and the area under the top bunk becomes a study area with desk, bulletin board and bookcase

This bedroom set is incredible. I had done a lot of research before this purchase and I was pleased to find it online at such a great price. We did opt for the white glove service and it was worth it.
